Students Knock Out School's WiFi To Avoid A Test!

See Article Here

Although hacking is a serious crime, you have to admit these two were being very creative. There were two high school students at a New Jersey high school that figured out a way to take down their schools WiFi so they didn't have to take a test. What? It worked?

My question, has our education system become so dependent on technology that a test can’t be taken if it is not done on the internet? What happened to the #2 pencil and bubble answer sheets? I am dating myself again huh. This is like business people at work who feel nothing can be done without the internet, so when there is an outage everyone goes home for the day! I have seen that one personally…. I have done it actually. :-)

It is believed that they may have hired someone to do it. However, we all know it is not that difficult to knock out a WiFi network when you are an actual authorized user. But I would be contributing to the delinquency of minors if I told you.

Needless to say, that these two have a future in IT and/or cyber security. They probably spent more time trying to research how to conduct this scheme than studying for their test! Sounds like something my 13-year old would do!
